Some Practise Runs 151MC

Before i started taking the photographs and making them it to painting masterpieces, i decided to have a go making some of my own everyday photos into paintings, so i could see what would work and what wouldnt. I soon discovered that photographs with more skin showing were different to photographs showing more of the background were harder to change, obviously because i am trying to make these photos look more like an oil painting you really had to look more at the different tones in the skin, like people who are more tanned or olived skinned have more yellow and orange tones and colours in their skin, where as fair skinned people have more blues and green. This is something you really need to be aware of. There also has to be a lot of detail in the eyes and mouth when creating there oil paintings because this is what makes the paintings look more life like.
